last post- Ceremony
When I first started reading Ceremony it was very hard to keep reading because it was confusing but as I started to read more I started to get into it. I thought it was a pretty good book but it is not a book I would read on my own. Ceremony is about Tayo who is a half-white Laguna Indian suffering from the after-effects of his experiences in WWII. When Tayo returns home from the war he is unable to find his place among his old friends or his family. Over time and with the help of a medicine man Tayo discovers his connection to the land and to ancient rituals.

I believe that Ceremony is also hard to keep up with. It's not because we don't understand it, I believe that it's the structure and how Ceremony is presented that makes it hard for almost all of us to keep up with. I agree on the fact that I would not read this book alone, not because it is a bad book (which it is not), but because the structure of the book is hard to read and understand at the same time.
